Delete your ZanGo account
ZanGo supports account deletion both inside the app and through this web page. When you request deletion, sign-in is disabled immediately and your account enters a 7-day grace period. If you sign in again within those 7 days, your existing account is restored exactly as it was (same account, same email - no duplicate). If you do not sign in, the account and its eligible data are then permanently removed.
Fastest option: delete inside the app
- Open ZanGo.
- Go to Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the request.
If you no longer have the app
Send your deletion request from the email address connected to your ZanGo account. Include your registered email address or phone number so we can identify the account.
Email privacy@zango.tetaya.com to request deletion
Automatic account lifecycle (inactive accounts)
ZanGo also manages accounts that become inactive automatically. We never delete an account after only a few weeks of inactivity — you always get a meaningful opportunity to return. The lifecycle depends on whether your account was completed and whether you had prior activity.
Incomplete accounts
If you registered but never finished your profile, we send a reminder after 7 days and a final warning after 23 days. If you still haven't returned, your account is marked for deletion after 30 days and permanently removed 7 days later (day 37).
Completed but inactive accounts
If you completed your profile but stopped using ZanGo, we send an inactivity warning after 6 months and a final warning after 11 months. Your account is marked for deletion after 12 months and permanently removed 7 days later. Accounts that previously had bookings or other meaningful activity are given a longer runway (warnings at 9 and 17 months, deletion pending at 18 months).
How to keep your account active
Simply sign in and use a ZanGo feature (such as viewing your profile, sending a message, creating a booking, updating your profile, or generating a trip plan). If your account is already marked for deletion, signing in during the 7-day grace period restores it automatically.
